Gestation
Even before birth, some sounds are present in our lives. The heartbeat is the very first sound made by the embryo, indicating that a human life has begun. It is confirmed when the newborn belts out its first cries. The sound is a sign of good health. As soon as it enters the world, a baby is aware of the sounds around it, which can sometimes be startling or, other times, soothing. In the second category, nothing beats a mother’s voice singing a lullaby.
